Expression of Interest - Co-Design Workshop Tourism Developments at the Dial Range

⁠⁠⁠The Council is seeking expressions of interest from community members to participate in a Co-design Workshop on the afternoon of Thursday 16 March 2023. During the Co-design Workshop, project teams will develop key tourism initiatives into project plans that could be implemented at the Dial Range.

Enhanced visitor experiences and tourism development at the Dial Range destination can provide ongoing and important social, economic and environmental benefits for the community. The Dial Range provides a range of outstanding recreational experiences and outdoor adventure opportunities including extensive mountain bike riding and bushwalking opportunities that cater for multi-user skill levels. The Dial Range is integral in attracting tourists to the area, which has a multiplier effect for surrounding businesses and the Penguin township.

The Council will work together with business and the community to co-design a Proposal that outlines key strategies to create tourism developments at the Dial Range. Ideally, participants of the Co-design Workshop will be creative and represent the views of local community groups, businesses and residents. To express your interest in joining the Co-design Workshop, please send a short summary of your association/s, expertise and ideas to create tourism developments at the Dial Range.
