Tender Description

Introduction and Background Information

Tamworth Regional Council (TRC) owns and operates Tamworth Regional Airport (Airport). The Airport is a large, certified and security-controlled airport with several options available for the establishment of a new operational precinct for General Aviation use. The feasibility of these options is the subject of this Quotation.

The final report to Council should include environmental and operational impacts of each site, calculated quantities and costs associated with all earthworks, pavements, building and service required including fencing, and utilities, and a financial report on cost recovery
scenarios. Environmental and operational impacts should include likely wind rotor generation and site visibility related to the Airservices Australia control tower. All development options identified must comply in all aspects with CASA Mos 139 standards for aerodromes.

Site Description

The sites identified are adjacent or wholly within the existing boundaries of the Tamworth Regional Airport. The three sites are indicated in the attached map.

Site Services

The successful contractor will be given access to Tamworth Regional Council (TRC) site service overlay maps, but will be required to identify and cost the connection of services to the selected sites. TRC will provide site access and escort.
