Tender Description
Emerald Airport needs a number of land side lights, mainly around the long and short term car park, replaced. Current technology is no longer available, so a new system must be proposed, supplied and installed. Eventually the airport will need all lights retrofitted, however, currently only around ten lights are planned to be changed. Please see the attached diagram for the area that needs to be illuminated.
In the main, the requirement will be that:
- Supply a lighting design that will see the marked area (including car parks and walkways) be compliant with lighting standards should the proposed solution be adopted. This may include additional lighting poles that must be installed;
- Supply the hardware (all hardware, cables, transformers, lights, fittings and all other materials) for a limited number of lights (a minimum of ten lights, plus a per unit rate for each additional light). The airport will work with the successful respondent in deciding which initial replacement lights will have the highest effect on lighting levels;
- Install the lights prior to 20 May 2023, supplying all labour, plant and equipment;
- Commission the system, providing an "as constructed" that contains any changes made, certifications etc.;
- Complying with CHRC contractor requirements, OHS requirements and other requirements must be included.
