Tender Description
ArtPlay New Ideas Lab provides the opportunity for artists to propose new projects to undertake at ArtPlay as part of our ongoing creative program for children and families.
Participants receive:
Up to $20,000 artist fees (together with consumables materials and equipment)
Venue/development space, marketing and some specialist staffing in-kind
Dedicated time at ArtPlay to co-create work with children and families via the New Ideas Lab development model: Dream, Make, Show
Marketing collateral including promotional images and video
A pitch session with industry
Key dates:
Expressions of interest open: 13 February 2023, 9am AEDT
Information session: 28 February 2023, 1.30pm to 2.30pm AEDT
Expressions of interest close: Monday 27 March 2023, 5pm AEDT
Pitch day: Wednesday 19 April time, between 10am to 4pm AEDT
Notification of selected artists for pitch day: Early April
Notification of successful artists for New Ideas Lab program: Late April
