Tender Description
The Council is seeking responses to this Request for Tender (RFT) 2223-029 for the provision of Design and Construction of a new roof structure over two courts at Diamond Creek Netball, Diamond Street, Diamond Creek, VIC 3089.
The Council is seeking to appoint a single provider to deliver the works and services.
It is intended that the new contract arrangement will commence on or around 1 May 2023 with a practical completion date of 17 November 2025.
Diamond Netball Courts are located at 2 Diamond Street, Diamond 3089.
This project will involve the design and construction of a new solid roof structure over courts one and two (1 & 2), as well as all storm water, service connections access paths and other associated works.
The scope of services for this project includes but is not limited to:
• Site investigation and surveying
• Documentation and confirmation of existing services
• Preparation of preliminary concept designs with rendered 3D images for public consultation
• Allowance for public consultation and design changes
• Preparation of all documentation required for Melbourne Water assessment
• Preparation of all documentation required for Planning Permit process
• Preparation of all construction documentation including design drawings, civil designs, structural drawings and services designs.
• Application and obtain Building Permit
• Construction of roof structure per prepared documentation
• Design and installation of LED lighting to new roof structure
• Rectification of all disturbed areas
The operation of the remaining netball courts is required throughout construction and no building materials or vehicles will be permitted on them for the duration of the project. Any damage to the courts will be rectified by the contractor at their expense.
