Tender Description
Expressions of interest are open for an Aotearoa New Zealand member to join the AFOEM The Value of Occupational and Environmental Medicine Physicians in Healthcare working group.
This is a new working group being established and is seeking an Aotearoa New Zealand member who may have one or more of these characteristics:
- specialises in Occupational and Environmental Medicine
- specialises in Public Health Medicine
- identifies as Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander or Māori
- is a trainee
- works in and/or is familiar with the Aotearoa New Zealand hospital systems
The Group will produce a position paper document for relevant stakeholders regarding the expertise and value of Occupational and Environmental Medicine Physicians in the healthcare sector (particularly hospitals).
The Group is led by the Australasian Faculty of Occupational and Environmental Medicine (AFOEM) Council and holds up to 3 meetings a year.
Members join the Group for a 1-year term or until the completion of the position paper.
