Insurance, Broking and Risk Management Services

⁠⁠⁠Council desires, by the issue of this tender invitation, to appoint a suitably qualified, experienced, licensed insurance broker to provide risk identification, risk assessment risk management, including workplace risks and risk transfer, when necessary.

Experience and expertise are required to be demonstrated in relation to the marketing and placement of the risks Council requires to be transferred.

Council takes conflict of interest issues seriously and requires its preferred broker to be Council’s agent and to not act as the agent of any insurer or risk financier it is intended to transfer Council’s risks to, without Council’s written permission and without written protocols in place to manage any material conflict of interest or potential conflict that may arise.

The successful tenderer will be required to provide the same high standards of courtesy and service to Council’s stakeholders, customers, ratepayers and community as provided by Council and as required by Council’s service guidelines and standards
