Tender Description
District Council of Lower Eyre Peninsula are seeking contractors to Undertake Stage 4 of 10 of the Bratten Way rehabilitate/upgrade project between chainage: 5,460 and 10,940
The works involve;
- overlaying the existing pavement with 190mm to 400mm of Class 1 and 2 crushed rock (depending on pavement cross section profile) to achieve HML pavement capacities:
- strip surfaces adjacent to the existing road formation footprint;
- build/cut batters to support wider road formation/pavement profile;
- extend existing stormwater pipes and replacing headwalls;
- remove and replace deteriorated sections* of the existing pavement (in specific sections) with Class 2 crushed rock;
- overlay with Class 1 crushed rock;
- install a 10mm primer seal.
Each end of the full depth pavement and at intersecting roads/driveways transition ramps are to be constructed to match existing surfaces to the overlaid surfaces
Yeltukka Road intersection is to have a ~150m merging lane constructed on the east bound lane.
