The City of Mount Gambier (the Council) invites tenders from Tenderers for the provision of Civil Works (Earth Works) for the Construction of Cell 4A at the Caroline Landfill Waste Disposal Facility. The Council will enter into a Contract for Services (the Services) with the successful Tenderer.

Waste has been disposed of at Caroline Landfill since 1997, with an annual tonnage of 29,338 interred in the financial year 2021/2022. Cell 3C was constructed in 2019 and filling commenced October 2020. Cell 3C is nearing capacity and the next Cell 4A is required to be constructed.

Council is seeking suitably qualified service providers to construct an approved design engineered Cell (Cell 4) at the Caroline Landfill as part of the conceptual cell construction plan sequencing. This Tender is predominantly for civil works
