Tender Description
The Ipswich LGA experienced a significant flood event in February 2022. As a result of this Council has determined it wishes to pursue a rollout of cameras to monitor flood waters at selected locations.
The Flood Monitoring Camera Network will be managed and operated by the Ipswich Council Emergency Management Unit.
The camera network will supply real time and still images to the emergency management unit for disaster management activities and, have the capacity if enabled to provide selected images to other organisations and the public.
The products and services being acquired are as follows:
- Hardware and Software – Supply and install all related infrastructure and systems
- Service and maintenance of hardware and software
- Spare parts on hand for emergent repairs and the ability to source parts on short notice
- Provide warranty on products and service
- Conduct annual physical inspections of sites prior to the annual wet season and provide written reports to Council regarding infrastructure status
- Provide data storage, access, and retrieval capability
- Provide system administration and access control capability
- Attend to Cyber security, data security, data storage and maintenance
