Tender Description
This Forward Procurement Notice is to advise the intent of Department of Justice and Attorney-General (DJAG) to engage an organisation to provide a First Nations Cultural Advisor to be part of the Townsville High Risk Team (HRT) to ensure strengths-based, culturally-led domestic and family violence (DFV) responses for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people in the Townsville area.
It is anticipated that the successful organisation will provide a First Nations Cultural Advisor to review relevant cases and attend all HRT meetings to provide advice on appropriate integrated service responses to meet the needs of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people referred to the HRT.
It is anticipated that the invitation will be released on the Queensland Government QTenders System during January 2023.
It is proposed that the contract will be for an initial period of two (2) years with an option to extend for up to a further three (3) years based on an assessment of the supplier’s performance.
