Queensland Hydro is seeking Expressions of Interest for consultancy services to develop a front-end engineering design (FEED) for the Pioneer-Burdekin Pumped Hydro Energy Storage Project (PBPHES).
The FEED Engineer will be responsible for time senstive delivery of a front-end engineering design for the Pioneer-Burdekin Pumped Hydro Energy Storage Project. The work will be broken into two phases, comprising:
An options assessment phase, with a dedicated Option Assessment Report, drawings, and recommendation as to the Preferred Technical Option, followed by a workshop presentation to Queensland Hydro.
Complete FEED of the Preferred Option.
Key interfaces for the FEED Engineer will include the transmission interface with Powerlink, interface with the Owners Engineer team, interface with major equipment suppliers and interface with the cost estimators.
Queensland Hydro are conducting a two-stage procurement process including a public Expression of Interest (EOI) which will result in a short-list of capable tendering entities. There will be no proposed agreement or contract resulting from this EOI process. The shortlisted suppliers will proceed to a select tender phase.
