Summary
Expressions of interest are open for Neurology Fellows to join the Advanced Training Committee (ATC) in Neurology.
Description
The ATC in Neurology oversees the Advanced Training program in Neurology in the Adult Medicine and Paediatric divisions and is responsible for:
- monitoring and reviewing training program requirements and curricula in consultation with relevant stakeholders
- monitoring and assessing individual trainee progress in Neurology, including assessing various types of applications such as training applications and applications for Recognition of Prior Learning
- modifying training requirements for individual trainees as appropriate, in accordance with College policies and procedures
- reviewing of Research Projects
- reviewing of Advanced Training settings in Neurology, including conducting site accreditation visits
The ATC holds 1 face-to-face meeting and 1 video conference a year, usually in May and November.
There is currently 1 vacancy available as an appointed member with a preference for a Queensland representative. Members are appointed to the ATC for an initial 3-year term, with the option to renew for a further term.
