Tender Description
The Shire of Plantagenet is seeking to appoint a casual Saleyards General Hand at the Mount Barker Regional Saleyards. The successful applicant will be primarily responsible for the hosing, cleaning and maintenance of the cattle yards and troughs.
This is a casual position which reports to the Assistant Saleyards Manager. The hours of work will be on a casual basis as required. Previous experience in the operation and maintenance of livestock saleyards is desirable but not essential. The successful applicant will require an adequate level of strength to enable the manoeuvring and control of heavy, high pressure hose equipment.
