Project Location: SHOEMAKERS CK 7.2KM NORTH OF BOMBALA
Project Scope: Council is seeking suitably qualified Companies to supply a quote for the following works for Transport for NSW as per the detailed design drawings provided as part of this RFQ:-
Installation of SO kerb and trench drain at two locations within segment 1340 on Monaro Highway. The two site locations are:
Site 1 – Segment 1340, chainage start 1.064km, approx. 210m of SO Kerb and trench drain for Northbound direction, between culvert 644181 and 644182
Site 2- Segment 1340, chainage start 2.360km, approx. 350m of SO Kerb and trench drain for Northbound direction, between culvert 644186 and 644188
End of SO Kerb should be treated to prevent scouring, suitable treatments include rockfill mattress.
Smooth transition of the pavement to the SO Kerb is required. SO Kerb must not sit higher than the edge of pavement.
SO Kerb cross-section shall be constructed as shown in Standard Drawing R0300 (attached).
Trench Drain beneath SO Kerb shall be constructed as shown in drawing MD.R33A06 (attached).
Trench drain depth of 400mm and width of 300mm required. Trench drain aggregate filter material may be F20 or No Fines Concrete.
Suitable excavated material may be used for reshaping of table drain into SO Kerb or stockpiled for future road projects.
All works noted in the “Works Included” section below which forms part of the RFQ
