Tender Description
A retail opportunity exists to operate a café at the Footscray Nicholson campus located at the corner of Nicholson & Buckley Streets, Footscray.
VU is seeking proposals from experienced operators to deliver convenient, healthy, on-trend food and beverage options that can be offered as grab & go.
This café is currently the only offering on campus.
This retail opportunity does not provide exclusive catering rights to the campus however it would be advantageous to have an appealing, affordable offer for internal department needs.
The successful operator will be required to get the current site up to standard that meets the Health and Safety requirements of the Local Council, and be able to commence operations late January 2023.
The successful operator will submit as part of their proposal the following operating conditions:
• Operate the proposed site as is until 30 June 2023 in its current condition.
• Propose a refurbishment of the site to be undertaken July 2023 (or date by agreement). Refurbishment will include fixtures, fittings and equipment.
