Tender Description
Warren Shire Library aims to improve the main entrance to the library with a broadened lobby area and create an Open-Air library space for the benefit of the whole Warren community with a particular emphasis on meeting the access needs of people with disabilities and people with prams.
SCOPE OF WORKS
Without limiting to the requirements set out elsewhere in the Contract (Drawings and Specification), the Work under the Contract includes the following main elements:
o Demolition of the existing entry, and roof area to the extent that necessary for the alteration and renovation of the Library Lobby Area.
o Construction of new entrance lobby works to facilitate wheelchair and pram access.
o Main Entry Automatic Sliding Glass Door with full glazed partition beside automatic door.
o New roofing structure for the modified foyer and entrance awning, including gutter, and downpipes to SW drainage.
o Carpeting floor area matching with existing carpet/ carpet tiles inside.
o Installation and or relocation of new signages on the wall.
o Remove existing library book return chute and install at the new location.
o Entrance Terrance Floor drainage to stormwater system.
o Painting all new elements and patch painting as deemed necessary
NOTE: Period of time for practical completion: 12 weeks after date of acceptance of tender
