Development and delivery of contextualised MARAM training to education workforces

⁠⁠⁠Introduction/Synopsis

The Department is seeking an external supplier to develop and deliver contextualised training in the Family Violence Multi-Agency Risk Assessment and Management Framework (MARAM) to nominated staff at education and care workforces. The training package will provide staff with the skills and knowledge to meet their responsibilities under MARAM. This will support DET schools, centre-based education and care services and select education health and wellbeing services to align with MARAM which is a legislative requirement.

The supplier will be required to develop a half-day training package for nominated staff at schools, early childhood services and DET Regions. Training will be offered both in person and online.

The supplier will deliver pilot training in Term 2, 2023 and deliver training to nominated staff at prescribed schools, early childhood services and DET regions across the state from Term 3 2023 for up to 6,750 staff in total (pilot and a broader rollout).

The DET Supplier Portal

The Department of Education and Training has now established the DET Supplier Portal. The DET Supplier Portal allows suppliers to access and respond to procurement opportunities from a number of Education portfolio entities.

This Request for Quote (RFQ) is being issued and managed through the Supplier Portal. All primary information relating to this RFQ is being provided through the Supplier Portal, and responses can only be submitted through the Supplier Portal. Responses to RFQs submitted through the Buying for Victoria Tenders Portal will not be accepted.

PLEASE NOTE: as of November 2022, DET has revised the structure of RFQs on the Portal to improve ease of use for suppliers. Please ensure that you read the attached Quick Reference Guide on Supplier Portal Basics when accessing the Portal.

• Whether you are an existing supplier to DET or a first-time respondent, please see the attached Supplier Quick Reference Guide (QRG) on the Supplier and User Registration Process.
• Once you are registered and have received your User ID and password, you can log in from the DET Supplier Portal home page.
