Fremantle Golf Course Club House & Community Centre

⁠⁠⁠The City of Fremantle is a local government authority located 20km south of the Perth CBD comprising the suburbs of Beaconsfield, Fremantle, Hilton, North Fremantle, O'Connor, Samson, South Fremantle and White Gum Valley.

The Town of Fremantle Council was founded in 1871 and it wasn't until 1929 that it gained city status.
Today, the City employs more than 400 people and services approximately 30,000 residents over a land area of 19 square kilometers.

We pride ourselves on responsible social, economic and environmental management and in 2009, Fremantle became WA's first carbon neutral city.

In September 2014, Fremantle became one of only two councils in Australia to achieve national One Planet certification for sustainability.

The City also has a strong focus on arts and culture and owns and runs the iconic Fremantle Arts Centre and world-renowned festivals including Australia's oldest festival, the Fremantle Festival.

About this Tender:

The Principal is seeking tenders from highly qualified building contractors for the construction of the Fremantle Public Golf Course, Club House and Community Centre located at 20 Montreal Street, Fremantle.

Current works completed by Main roads WA to High Street has resulted in the need to reconfigure the golf course to accommodate a changed layout. Part of these works include the construction of a new club house and community center to replace former buildings that have been demolished as part of the High Street works and golf course reconfiguration.
