Panel of preferred suppliers for on-ground conservation works for the Greater Sydney DEOH Project
GS LLS has won a tender with the Department of Defence to restore bushland on the Defence Establishment Orchard Hills ('DEOH') as a biodiversity offset for the construction of the Western Sydney Airport.
DEOH is a large operational military base at Orchard Hills just a south of Penrith, western Sydney. The project will restore 978 hectares of the site over 16 years, broken into 5-year intervals.
On ground project works include bush regeneration, weed control, seed collection, revegetation, pest animal control and habitat enhancement.
GSLLS would like to engage a panel of preferred suppliers to meet the needs of the project and ensure quality project outcomes.
All panel applicants must demonstrate the ability to undertake work consistent with legislative requirements in workplace health and safety and must fulfil Defence site access and security requirements.
The panel will target Small to Medium, local and Aboriginal-owned businesses as a priority.
