Central Goldfields Shire Council (Council) is seeking submissions from suitably qualified organisations and individuals to complete upgrade works at Carisbrook Transfer Station, Dunolly Transfer Station and Talbot Transfer Station.

Council has successfully received funding for the upgrade of 3 of its 4 Transfer Stations to allow for the implementation of Kerbside Reform Program. The Kerbside Reform Program provides for residents to have access to four streams of waste disposal – garbage, commingled recycling (no glass), glass and organics. This is being implemented as drop off sites for both glass and organics, and an extension of the processing area at Carisbrook.

Awarding of the tender is subject to agreement by DELWP for any scope changes and timing changes as it is subject to a grant program.
