Tender Description
Stuart Highway Pavement Strengthening and Widening Ch 440.40 km to Ch 442.80 km. A general outline of the work to be carried out under the Contract comprises: Reconstruction of the existing road carriageway and side drains to improve ride ability and durability of formation. This section of road will require strengthening of the subgrade, construction of sub-base and base course. Where existing carriageway width is less than 11 metres, rehabilitation will include widening to 11-metre-wide carriageway with 2 traffic lanes of 3.5 metres wide each and 9 metre two coat seal and culvert replacement.
