RFQ - Native Vegetation Assessment to Enable Rural Road Drainage

⁠⁠⁠Swan Hill Rural City Council invites quotations for accredited native vegetation assessor/s to carry out assessment of native vegetation at specific areas across the unsealed and natural surface country roads within the Municipality. The purpose of the assessment will be to identify and allow for native vegetation removal for the purpose of drainage of those roads.

The successful consultant is expected to visit sites on a rolling basis to identify areas where no native vegetation exists or is of low value to allow works to be completed quickly. They are also expected to prepare reports and suggest actions for areas of high significance.

This contract may be awarded to a sole contractor or panel of providers. Hourly and daily charges, travel or any other charges to be identified as part of their submission.

Responses will be evaluated using the following criteria:

Price will be evaluated on best value

Compliance of Specification (20%)

Track Record (20%) - Provide detail about similar projects undertaken

Availability of Skills/Resources (30%) - Personnel skills and experience relevant to this project

Social Economic Benefit (20%) - Demonstrate social and economic benefit to Swan Hill Municipality

Environmental Benefit (10%) - Demonstrate commitment to environmental sustainability
