Tender Description
Tenders are invited from suitably qualified contractors for the above contract.
This Contract is for the supply, installation, testing and commissioning of a 250kVA generator in the existing Rangiora Ayers Street Water headworks building.
The main tasks involved in this Contract are:
- Confirming the location of existing services in the vicinity of works as required
- Supply and installation of a 250kVA generator in the existing Rangiora Ayers Street Water headworks building, including:
o Installation of exhaust, attenuators, louvres and mufflers
o Associated civil works on the control building, including wall and roof penetrations, supports for all components, and safety rails.
- Design and implementation of Temporary Works as required
- Test, remedy and commission the works under the contract
- Providing as-built drawings and any inputs required for the operation and maintenance manuals
- Liaison with key stakeholders including local landowners / occupiers, the Water Unit, and WDC
- Carry out other works deemed necessary for completion of this contract
