Tender Description
We invite Tasmanian artists to design 2D artwork design for glass panels surrounding outdoor balcony area for intensive care patients.
The Royal Hobart Hospital is refurbishing and extending its Intensive Care Unit (ICU).
To assist with patient wellbeing, the refurbished ICU will include an outdoor balcony area for patients to regularly experience sunlight and fresh air. The artwork will be printed on the balcony’s glass screening.
Arts Tasmania and the Royal Hobart Hospital invite Tasmanian artists to design 2D artwork, suitable for printing onto glass panels.
You will be able to meet with critical care staff and the project architect to help develop your artwork design.
The Department of Health will organise manufacture and installation of the glass screening. The artist will be responsible for the design only.
