Homes Victoria is intending to release a Request for Tender or Request for Proposal in December 2022 for a Principal Consultant and multi-disciplinary design team for the design of a social and affordable housing development on Homes Victoria land in suburban Melbourne. The proposal will provide more homes for individuals and families. The housing component must comply with residential and apartment design guidelines and any other applicable planning requirement.

This will be a select tender process called from pre-qualified Consultants on the Construction Supplier Register.
Contract award is expected in Quarter 1 2023.

The Government’s Local Jobs First policy and Social Procurement Framework apply to this procurement. Tender participants will need to complete a Local Industry Development Plan (LIDP) as part of Local Jobs First requirements. The Major Project Skills Guarantee (MPSG) and Apprenticeships Victoria requirements also apply to this procurement. These commitments will need to be included within the LIDP.
