The eSolutions AV team manages AV designs and installations across the University. To simplify and standardise the AV system experience across the University locations, Monash in collaboration with our incumbent programmers have created a configurable code platform which is deployed to all AV systems in our environment.
The approach of a single code base that is installed and configured per room is a departure from the old AV industry tradition of custom programs for each AV installation, which Monash AV feels introduces inconsistencies, bugs, and a poor user experience.
The nature of the universal code has allowed bug fixes and feature enhancements to be rolled out across the whole Monash fleet, using specially designed fleet management software.
Monash University is seeking an experienced control code developer to partner with and to develop and support a universal AV code base. To be successful in this partnership you would need to fully comply with the mandatory requirements as per the attached Part E, AV Control Software Requirements (Universal Code), and detail your experience in developing and supporting such code in other large enterprises.
Your organisation will have considerable experience in developing a single A.V. Controller code base across a fleet of AV systems.
