Tender Description
Hort Innovation is a not-for-profit, grower-owned research and development corporation (RDC) for Australia’s $15.1 billion horticulture industry. Hort Innovation invests around $120 million in research and development (R&D) and marketing programs annually to provide benefit to industry and the wider community.
Hort Innovation is seeking a suitably qualified, experienced and capable delivery partner for the project: Opportunities for insecticide resistant honey bees for pollination security (PH22000).
The objectives of the services being sought are to:
- Compliment and prioritise existing global research into insecticide resistance in honey bees into an Australian context, with additional scope for the Australian stingless bee sector.
- Conduct background work to determine the factors that may impact the success of a large-scale research program undertaking further work in this area.
- Increase understanding of the opportunities to progress research into insecticide resistant honey bees in Australia for the first time.
- Develop engagement plan for a larger scale research program.
Hort Innovation has prepared a Request for Proposal (RFP) document that provides background information, outlines the scope of services, the procurement process and the information required from interested parties.
