Tender Description
Overview
Funding may be used to build and/or upgrade material recovery (sorting) facilities in regional Victoria to achieve one or more of the following:
- optimise the extraction of recyclable materials from municipal, commercial or industrial mixed sources (construction and demolition is not eligible)
- create a new sorting capability, within a new or existing facility
- upgrade existing capability, allowing increased throughput, sorting to a more specific level, and reduction in contamination in the final sorted material.

- Indigenous corporations
- social enterprises
- not-for-profit organisations
- local government authorities.
Additionally, applicants must:
have operated in Australia for at least 12 months on the application closing date
be an incorporated body, cooperative or association (including business associations)
be financially solvent.
