Tender Description
The Works provide for the repair of failed road pavements by asphalt patching at various locations in Lowry Place, Carrier Street, Fawckner Drive and Witt Street, Benalla, as specified in Table 1 – Road Locations and Table 2 – Asphalt Treatment Details.
The work under the contract includes the following: -
- Preparation of traffic management plans and implementation of traffic guidance schemes for all stages of the work, including traffic detours where required.
- Removal of existing pavements by cold planning.
- Supply and placement of hot-mix intermediate and wearing course asphalt layers.
- Disposal of surplus materials and cleaning of the road pavement after repairs.
- Quality controls and completion of inspection and test plans for each job item.
