Scope of Works
Rio Tinto requires a supplier to refurbish the existing MESA A Fire Water Tanks. The tanks are liner tanks of 950kl and 300kl respectively. The tanks require new liners and temporary additional storage for the period in which the liners will be replaced.
This is a design and construct scope of works.
The upgrade will include but is not limited to:
1. Design, Procurement and Installation of Temporary Storage
- Potential Earthworks pad and pad concrete works.
- Tie into existing Fire Water and Potable Water System.
2. Tank Liner and Potentially Strake Repair Works
- Replace the liners on both tanks once temporary storage is supplied.
- Testing and commissioning.
