Tender Description
The RFS has asked council to tender the below works with an contractor to undertake the following works:
- Canbelego :Interface Grading and Town Slashing
- Cobar Fire Break: Fire Break Grading
- Cobar Village: Interface Grading and Slashing
- Cobar South: Interface Grading and Slashing
- Euabalong: Interface Grading and Slashing
- Euabalong West: Interface Grading and Slashing
- Mount Hope: Interface Grading and Slashing
- Nymagee: Interface Grading and Slashing
Maps have been attached for contractors to understand where the interfaces/fire breaks are located.
GPS in grader is a requirement as this information needs to be sent back to the RFS for reporting.
Grading includes grading the Interface track. GPS is an necessity. This is two passes along whole length of interface trails.
Slashing includes mowing alongside graded area. 6-7ft adjacent to grading.
These works would need to be completed before the end of October 2022.
