Metro North Expressions Of Interest (EOI) MNHHS116486 - Outpatient Waitlist Audit Solution
The purpose of this Invitation is to gain a better understanding of the supply market, the level of interest and potential range of solutions that may be available - which may result in a Proof of Concept for Metro North.
Over the 2021-22 financial year, the number of Metro North Health patients waiting longer than clinically recommended timeframes for specialist outpatient appointments have increased substantially. This rise has highlighted inherent challenges of maintaining visibility over a growing waiting list in a resource constrained system.
Metro North aims to conduct a proof of concept trial to develop and assess the feasibility and usability of an artificial intelligence and natural language process driven waiting list audit tool to perform an administrative and high-level clinical audit of patients waiting for Specialist Outpatient appointments with Metro North Health.
The primary outcome of the proof of concept trial is to determine acceptability, accuracy, and feasibility i.e., patient acceptance and participation of using an artificial intelligence and natural language process driven waiting list audit tool.
