Wagga Wagga City Council (WWCC) has a diverse range of building and infrastructure located within its Local Government boundary, which this contract encompasses. The diversity of infrastructure can be demonstrated by the fact that Council owns and operates a number of facilities and buildings including but not limited to an Airport, Livestock Marketing Centre, Cemetery, Waste Management Centre, Depots, Aquatic Centre, Civic Centre, Art Gallery, Civic Theatre, Visitors Information Centre, Multi-Purpose Stadium and various parks and sporting facilities.
The Service required is the provision of an integrated range of security services for both Specified Sites and additional services to existing or new sites on an as required basis. Council may also reduce the services required from time to time. The Service includes random mobile patrols, foot patrols, alarm monitoring services, alarm response and maintenance of security equipment. Other services which may be required from time to time are static guards and crowd control to various sites.
NOTE: Excludes Airport passenger and luggage security screening services.
This Contract will remain in force for a period of 24 months commencing at the date of acceptance by Wagga Wagga City Council, with three extension options at the discretion of the Council. Irrespective of the contract extensions, the Contract will finish no later than 31 October 2027.
