Tender Description
This Tender is for the Re-sheeting of 10.0 kilometres of the existing gravel road SLK 0.2 to 10.2 Yeelirrie Rd, Wiluna. It is part of the Shire of Wiluna Roads Upgrade program.
The Yeelirrie road is approximately 30 Km south of Wiluna on the Goldfields Hwy/State Route 49. The road is an unsealed gravel road that is used to connect to the township of Sandstone and Geraldton. The works are to reform and re-sheet 10km from SLK 0.20 – SLK 0.20.
Works include:
• 10km of 150mm gravel road pavement SLK 0.20 – 10.20
• Pavement width to be 9.0 metres with 1 metre shoulders resulting in 11 metre total formation
• Cut-to-fill to achieve a typical 4% each way crossfall except if superelevated which will be one way 4% crossfall
• Vegetation Clearance on both sides of road to facilitate the construction of a new formation, including Plant and labour and disposal of vegetation material
• Reshaping and reforming to existing road to approved/agreed design sub-grade level including table drains, including the provision of all plant and labour to facilitate the construction of a new formation
• Table drains to be approximately 150mm below the subgrade level
• 150mm compacted thickness gravel pavement, complete including plant, labour, materials
• Gravel sheeting to be supplied, placed, mixed, trimmed and compacted to 150mm thickness
• Testing regime and Compaction specifications and Australian Standards or equivalent
• Existing alignment to be maintained
• Supply and installation of guideposts
• Supply and install new signs and relocate existing signs
• Additional works per Km may be undertaken, subject to approval from the Shires
