Logan and Gold Coast Faster Rail Project - Industry Engagement Registration of Interest

⁠⁠⁠Logan and Gold Coast Faster Rail (LGC)

The Queensland Government, together with the Australian Government, is planning to increase the number of tracks between Kuraby and Beenleigh from 2 to 4 tracks, with modernised rail systems, station upgrades and level crossing removals.

The Department of Transport and Main Roads (TMR) invites suppliers who meet the below prequalification requirements (Suppliers) to participate in Industry Engagement for the Logan and Gold Coast Faster Rail (LGC) Project. Select Suppliers will also be invited to participate in engagement sessions with TMR.

Suppliers who would like to be involved with the Industry Engagement and/or attend an Engagement Session must submit a Registration of Interest form, in accordance with the Industry Engagement Information document, no later than 9 September 2022.

Prequalification requirements

This phase of industry engagement is open to all Suppliers who meet one of the below minimum requirements.

Contractors with all of the following:

• Transport and Main Roads Prequalification Status F75
• Transport and Main Roads Prequalification Status R3
• Transport and Main Roads Prequalification Status B2

Consultants with all of the following:

• Transport and Main Roads Prequalification Status BD3
• Transport and Main Roads Prequalification Status HE3

Suppliers who do not meet the prequalification requirements as set out above are able to submit details for at least two projects they have delivered (or are in the process of delivering) in the last five years with a similar size, scale, or complexity to the LGC Project. This is to be submitted by the Supplier on no more than two A4 pages for consideration by TMR.

TMR maintain sole discretion as to whether a Supplier meets the requirements to be eligible for industry engagement.
