Registration of Interest for GCLR - Gold Coast University Hospital to Biggera Waters (Harbour Town)

Goldlinq Pty Ltd is inviting organisations to submit a Registration of Interest (ROI) in relation to the delivery of the GCLR - Gold Coast University Hospital to Biggera Waters (Harbour Town) project.

About

On 22 June 2026, the Queensland Government announced the extension of the Gold Coast Light Rail (GCLR) to connect Harbour Town at Biggera Waters with Gold Coast University Hospital on the northern Gold Coast. The extension will be delivered as part of the Gold Coast Transport Plan and is intended to enhance public transport across the Gold Coast, reduce congestion generally, and provide a public transport solution to support the northern Gold Coast's growing population and during the 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games.

Purpose

This invitation to submit an ROI is intended to:

• Invite organisations (Registrants) to register their interest in relation to the delivery of the Project
• Identify Registrants with the requisite experience and capability which GoldlinQ may invite to proceed to the Expression of Interest (EOI) phase for the Project

This ROI and the subsequent procurement activities will focus on the Design and Construction Works (D&C Works).
