Tender Description
The Central Highlands Regional Council is seeking the provision of the processing recoverable resources, mainly mulching of green waste, crushing of concrete, shredding of tyres, and mattress shredding from various resource recovery centres throughout the Central Highlands area.
The processing of recoverable resources tender aims to promote the recovery of various resources including but not limited to mulch from green waste, crushed concrete from concrete, steel from mattresses and carbon/fuel/steel from further processing of tyres. This process will minimise the volume of waste in landfills and aligns with the principle of Queensland's new waste strategy, and meets the social, economic, and environmentally sustainable outcomes for the region.
