Tender Description
Policy & Advocacy seek up to 8 Fellows, trainees and subject matter experts to form a new Climate Change & Health Working Group.
Group members will provide leadership, expert advice and input to inform the development of the College’s climate change and health policy and advocacy position statements and activities.
Key responsibilities are to provide:
- leadership on the development and updating of climate change and health position statements
- expert input to the climate change and health advocacy strategy and activities
- expert input and advice in response to emerging issues and developments in climate change and health
- support on the implementation of recommendations from the College’s climate change and health research report
- support with the College’s engagement with other medical colleges and stakeholders to further climate change and health policy and advocacy priorities
- input on the development of related College submissions, responses and policy recommendations when relevant.
The Group will hold a minimum of 2 video conferences a year.
Members are appointed to the Group for an initial 3 year term with the option to extend. Members are eligible for Continuing Professional Development (CPD) credits.
