Lot 5 at Thevenard as it was known by Council was used as part of a 3 dam de-watering process and the storage of dredged sediment from the Thevenard Marina Basin. The spoil remaining from the dredging has filled the primary dam and majority of the secondary dam. However, there is still an open void which Council wishes to have filled.

Council has calculated that approximately 9000m3 of fill is required to fill the open void in the secondary dam (refer plan on page 9). This material is available on site and Council is seeking a quote from suitable earthmoving companies to move the designated stock piled earth into the secondary dam to fill it.

The void that is to be backfilled and compacted will not be engineered but will be reasonably dry compacted to 1.0m intervals to prevent any form of settlement.
