The Alpine Shire Council is seeking offers from suitably qualified and experienced contractors, for Professional Services to undertake an Asset Management Framework Maturity Audit.

In 2020, the Alpine Shire Council introduced a Asset Management Strategy, and a series of Asset Management Plans. A preliminary assessment of the Council’s asset management maturity was undertaken at the same time based on the Australian National Asset Management Assessment Framework (NAF). This assessment provided a view on the maturity of asset management against the eleven (11) core competencies under the National Assessment Framework.

The Alpine Shire Council is now seeking to engage an experienced contractor to repeat this maturity audit using the same approach and model that was used previously, to determine the progress that has been made on the Council’s asset management improvement initiatives. This is the first deliverable under this RFQ.

The Council is currently developing a User Requirements Specification for their new asset management system, but is keen to understand whether their organisation is ready to embark on this journey. Hence the Council is seeking to engage an experienced contractor to undertake a ‘readiness assessment’ for the new asset management software system. The framework for this readiness assessment. This is the second deliverable under this RFQ.
