The JCU Australian Institute of Tropical Health and Medicine (AITHM) Clinical Research and Training Facility at 86-88 Victoria Parade on Thursday Island and is used for teaching, research and learning facilities for JCU students in the Torres Strait region at the northern tip of Australia.
There is a community space also provides an ideal platform for engagement and collaboration with the Torres Strait community and the hospital service.
The building is a mix of offices, research space and a conference room which can be used for external and community events. The cleaning and maintenance are managed by the Estate Directorate as the on-site staff are employed by the AITHM.
