Tender Description
During the 2021 election campaign, the McGowan Government committed to boosting family and domestic violence prevention programs in Western Australia through the development of a primary prevention framework to guide prevention activities and support capacity building and training efforts.
As a part of this commitment, the Department of Communities (Communities) is offering one-off grant funding for eligible organisations to deliver activities in their region that work towards the prevention of violence against women and their children, inclusive of family and domestic violence.
To support prospective grant applicants, Communities has funded the Centre for Women’s Safety and Wellbeing to offer training about primary prevention. For further information about this training program including forthcoming dates, click here.
To support shared learning and enhanced collective impact from the range of primary prevention activities funded, Communities has also funded the Centre for Women’s Safety and Wellbeing to facilitate a community of practice for the successful grant recipients.
