Central Goldfields Shire Council (Council) is seeking submissions from suitably qualified and experienced consultants for the Castlemain to Maryborough Rail Trail Feasibility Study.

A collaboration comprising the Central Goldfields Shire Council (Council), Mt Alexander Shire Council and the Castlemaine-Maryborough Rail Trail Association (CMRT) is seeking a multi-disciplinary consultant capable of conducting a combined business case and feasibility study for a new recreational trail in Central Victoria.

The Study is being funded by a grant from the Victorian Government under its Enabling Tourism Fund, underwritten by financial contributions from CMRT and the two councils.
