Tender Description
Council is seeking a Contractor to undertake bituminous resealing works to approximately 165,000m2 of pavement in various localities near Gatton, Queensland. The project is inclusive of preparation works required to bring the road assets to a standard that is appropriate to place a bitumen seal. Preparation works are inclusive but not limited to asphalt overlays, surface correction using asphalt, shoulder grading, pothole repairs and pavement repairs.
This Request for Tender (RFT) is to engage the market on behalf of LVRC, seeking Offers for the supply of the following services for the identified package of works:
- Design of bituminous seal application rates and aggregate spread rates
- Supply, cart, heat and spray bitumen (S45R, Emulsion CRS60 inclusive of Tack Coat)
- Supply, cart, spread and roll pre-coated cover aggregate (7 & 10mm)
- Supply and incorporation of adhesion agent into the bitumen binder (0.5%)
- Supply and incorporation of cutter into the bitumen binder (as designed)
- Supply and lay average 50mm AC14 A15E asphalt overlay
- Bobcat profile tie-ins for 50mm AC14mm asphalt overlay
- Supply and lay average 25-35mm AC7 C320 as surface correction
- Fill potholes and fill edge repair with AC7 C320 mix
- Profile and remove existing material to a depth of 150mm and replace with type 2.1 material, compaction included
- Supply and provide operator for grader or similar to grade off high shoulders
- Import type 2.1 material to fill low shoulder and grade to shape
- Supply traffic management for the various sites, including an overarching Traffic Management Plan with resulting site-specific traffic guidance schemes (certified by a TMD (QLD))
