Tender Description
Tenders are invited for the Overhauling of Ferry 58 (Wisemans Ferry) & 91 (Bluff Point Ferry).
The two ferries need to undergo major overhauling to comply with Australian Maritime and Safety Authority (AMSA) survey requirements and to improve the reliability of service.Scope of works include services for Ferry Overhauling, including but not limited to labour and material to slip and un-slip the vessel, removal of oil residues, removal and fitting of ferry components, removal and refitting of sea tow equipment, and labour and plant necessary to remove and reposition main tow flaps.
Mandatory vessel inspections and pretender meetings will be carried out at both locations as per the below schedule:
Ferry 58: 12:00pm on Tuesday 9 August 2022 at Wisemans Main Crossing (Sydney – River City)
Ferry 91: 10:00am on Thursday 11 August 2022 at Lawrence.
Attendance to these pre-tender meetings is mandatory in order to submit a conforming tender.
