Tom Price Town Tanks Projection System

⁠⁠⁠Scope of Works

Rio Tinto requires a supplier to procure and construct a projection system which allows images to be projected onto the Tom Price Town Tanks.

The facility consists of 9ML tanks both approximately 11m high and 30m in diameter. The projection is to be shown on the northern side of the northern tank which faces the town. The projection is to be most visible from the Tom Price lay by area adjacent go cart track and the out of service haul truck. The approximate expected size of the projection would be 11m high and 25m wide.

The content which will be displayed is excluded. The facility is required to be handed over as a fully functional projector which can be supplied with unrendered photo content which is then displayed on the tanks. The Tanks will have a new white coating.

This is a Construction Scope of Works.

The procurement and installation requirements for the projection system will include but is not limited to:

1) Civil

(a) Supply and install projection room custom sea container and access as per design.

(b) Supply and install pre-cast foundations as per design, including any required civil works to prepare the foundations for the sea container.

(c) Trench between distribution board and projection room to run electrical cable, fill and compact.

2) Electrical

(a) Wiring and commissioning of electrical components of the projection room.

(b) Install a single phase submain cable connecting the projection room to the chlorination room distribution board.

(c) Provide new conduit and cabling as required.

(d) Supply and install air conditioning unit for the projection room.

(e) Commissioning, Testing, Manufacture Data Report (MDR), Installation Operation and Maintenance (IOM) manual, redline drawings as required

3) Projection Equipment and Installation

(a) Projector of >12000 Lumen rating.

(b) End user interface which allows unrendered images to be uploaded and displayed on tank.

(c) Software to render the images to allow clear display on the semi-circular tanks.

(c) Installation and commissioning of projector.

(d) Operation and Maintenance (IOM) manual for use of projector.

As this is an Expression of Interest (EOI) only, the specifics of the package of work relating to breadth of scope, location and timing may be subject to change. If successful, the Supplier/s will be notified of any changes prior to award.
