Tender Description
The Queensland Government is seeking Proposals for the upgrade of the Boombana Trailhead in D'Aguilar National Park. It includes resufacing of a bitument carpark, upgrading of the trailhead, demolition of some existing infrastructure, revegetation works and sign installation
Depending on requirements these goods / services specifically include:
- Upgrade car park with new asphalt overlay, line marking and vehicle bollards/stops (and edge restraint as required)
- 1 x persons with disability car park in accordance with AS1428
- New pedestrian entrance at car park providing a formalised entrance to the area.
- Upgrade access path to trail head from car park and links to walking tracks with road base stabilised with GRT5000 polymer binder applied through the track material
- Remove existing shelter keeping stone walling and install new information signage panel
- Revegetation as documented
- Install site entry signs according to traffic engineers specification (Appendix 3 Boombana Site Entry Signs) and complying with Moreton Bay Regional Council requirements including provision of a traffic management plan and permit to conduct works within a road reserve
It does not include design of interpretive materials, installation of routed signage, nativetitle/cultural heritage assessments, fauna assessments or vegetation surveys.
