Design, Fabricate, Deliver and Install a Modular Single Unisex Accessible Toilet, Gibson Way, Warren

⁠⁠⁠Transportable fully assembled accessible composting toilet constructed on a reinforced concrete slab. Compliant with AS1428.1-2009 - Design for access and mobility and BCA compliant.

Factory assembly or Prefabricated modular building that is assembled and installed on site will be considered.

Warren Shire Council reserves the right to witness factory testing. 2 weeks notice must be provided prior to factory testing.

CPTED (Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design) principles to apply.

Tenderer to provide details on the internal and external cladding, including door cladding, louvres and all infill materials and fixings necessary to complete the works.

Preference will be given to submissions utilising fireproof or fire retardant construction materials.

Where steel is utilised, frames must be hot-dipped galvanised after fabrication.

The exterior of the amenities must be finished to allow for the application of a vinyl wrap.

The floor of the amenities shall be tiled with non slip, durable and easily cleaned tiles. Submissions shall include the provision of 2 square meters of spare floor tiles.

The internal walls are to be finished in a light coloured, durable product that is easy to clean. If tiled, submissions shall include the provision of 2 square meters of spare wall tiles.

Door hardware shall include:

• One Briton BNT-1120B-SE Adjustable Door Closer EN2-4 (or approved equivalent);
• One Lockwood CORTEX Electronic Lockset on the toilet door. Toilet door and service duct doors to be keyed to Warren Shire Council Master System D149. Please contact David Brown from Dubbo City Locksmith & Security on 1300 123 159.
• Indicator latch, pull handle, push plate etc.

The accessible toilet will have as a minimum:

• 1 'through wall' Sharps bin with 5 litter containers.
• 1 fold down baby change table (KB200 or approved equivalent).
• 1 Stainless steel pan with dual flush in-duct cistern. Provide 2 spare toilet seats.
• 1 Stainless steel basin with splash back and timed shutoff lever taps.
• 1 cleaners tap in service duct.
• 1 Stainless steel lockable toilet paper dispenser, surface mounted.(Standard toilet rolls).
• 1 Stainless steel lockable hand towel dispenser, surface mounted or electric hand dryer.
• 1 Stainless steel lockable liquid hand soap dispenser, surface mounted.
• 1 Stainless steel rubbish bin, surface mounted.
• Appropriately-sized and raised rain water tank
• Composting system
• Tactile signage as per AS 1428.1 - 2009.
• Polished Stainless Steel Mirror.
• Access rails to cubicles as per AS 1428.1 - 2009.
• Stainless steel half shelf above basin and coat hook to back of door.
• Motion activated LED Sensor Light to cubicle, wiring to sub-board in the service duct.
• LED light with switch in service duct, double GPO at the sub-board.
• Footing design and setout plan.
• BA drawings and engineers structural certificate.
• Hydraulic plans to the extent of the building.
• Slab design.
