Stage 2 Air Conditioning System Upgrade at Glen Street Theatre

SERVICE REQUIRED:
As part of the 2022/2023 Capital Works Program, Council is undertaking the Stage 2 air conditioning system upgrade at Glen Street Theatre, Belrose NSW.
Council is seeking quotes from suitably qualified contractors to carry out the following outline scope of works:
Decommissioning and removal of redundant AC equipment
Removal of existing sloping section of roof sheeting and associated items
New low load chiller, air handling and fan coil units
New pipework and ductwork systems including filters, dampers and valves
New buffer tanks, associated pipework and connections
New roof sheeting to sloping section including safety mesh, insulation blanket and flashings
New fabric ductwork in Auditorium
All associated electrical works including removal of redundant services and switchboards
All associated builder's works in connection
Allow for making good to existing structure, wall and ceiling finishes, roof sheeting including new flashings, sealing to penetrations and water-proofing
Allow for all external fixings that are suitable for purpose
Allow for all shop drawings for approval prior to installation
Allow for full integration with the existing BMS system
Testing, commissioning and certification
Monthly service inspections and maintenance during DLP
Maintenance manuals and handover documentation
The works are to be carried out strictly in accordance with the requirements in this document. To have tenders considered, contractors will need to ensure that all required information requested in the Request for Tender document is provided.
Expected commencement of works in March 2023

SITE BRIEFING:
A Site briefing will be held on 27 July 2022 at Glen Street Theatre, Belrose at 10.30am. Tenderers should ensure they review the tender documents and understand the scope of work before attending the briefing. (See Part A5 - Conditions of Tender for details).

CLOSING DATE AND TIME:
Tenders close at 2.00pm on 9 August 2022 and must be fully received by this time.

LODGEMENT:
Submissions should be lodged in the electronic tender box or in the physical tender box at Northern Beaches Council, Civic Centre, 725 Pittwater Road, Dee Why, NSW 2099 by the time and date nominated. Late submissions may not be accepted.
